Error codes for this are on page 4 of known error codes thread. Make sure the condensor is clear, two different stat kits depending on date code, different NTC’s used. You should always replace all three if any one of them fails.

    Re: HPT CTD80P

as per pre mail, I visited one of these it had just a white spot cut out and the thermistor. The thermistor in appearence looked identical to the cycling stat.
I have spoken to others who have experienced the same having fitted the two out of the three parts to the kit.
Is it possible you changed the two and retained the new thermistor.
i.e thats the cutout wspot and cycling stat in place of the thermistor due to appearence?
If this is the case it will not perform and shows a fault after a few minutes.

If this is correct replace the thermistor with the fitted stat and all should be well???
I know what I mean hope it makes sense :rolls:

Does sound like you have substituted the original NTC with a cycling stat.
Later versions have all three fitted L-R w/spot toc – cycling stat – NTC
