    fdw20 d/washer was flashing 4th light [drying]. codes say heat timed out, checked heater ok, what else causes this problem?

    Faulty NTC attached to heater tube?

    No NTC attached to heater, it is hardwired into the control PCB.

    The PCB is almost as likely to cause no heat as is a failed element.

    Two different cards, need serial number to ID.
