Anyone have a manual on this one for parts and service.

Went out about a month ago, evaporator pre-formed cover blocked up with ice, preventing adaquate air flow. The ice build up was so much it has distorted the polystyrene and the foil so each time now when defrosting it will leave water then when refreezes just blocks up with ice. The evap itself was normal seems to have a even layer of ice all over. The drainage area was clear?

Tested heater and thermal fuses all seem ok.

Defrosted and left to dry out before switching on.

Customer has said that the food defrost alert light has been on permant.

Now the high temp warning lamp has come on and temperature has risen food thawing.

    Fridge appears to be alright.

I assume this model has a valve to divert.

Any known problems on this model or clues to why the defrost food light is always on?

I probably need the evaporator cover any idea of part number?

But has anyone any info on this?

    Cheers

They are prone to leaking in the anticondensation loop around the freezer door, you can bypass the loop but it will prob’ly be a recall for condensation, the divertor valves very rarely fail, but some have had leaks on them also. jj
