    fault code F7. heater relay.
the heater element has gone O/C .so with the error code saying relay, does this mean the relay has stuck THEN the element blew or is it just a case of a faulty element.any info. gladly taken.
    thanks .

    Hi
I would imagine its a vague error code indicating a heating problem IMHO.
In the heat cycle, do you get 240v on the heater terminals thus eliminating the relay and pcb. 😀

F07 does mean ‘relay has stuck’, as opposed to F08, ‘relay cannot be activated’. I think the Hotpoint machines have a thermal cut out inside the heater, not sure about their Italian cousins though, I guess this would trip as soon as the heater came on without water in the drum. ❓
