I’m replacing the steel front air duct with a plastic one part no MDA170236 WITH STAT
THE DOOR FILTER DOES NOT FIT
SHOULD THERE BE A REPLASEMENT FILTER WITH ITTHANKS

To replace the original metal air duct with the plastic one you need a complete drum and duct kit. That includes a new drum and all the other parts required including, new fan, back panel, stats, filter and all seals. You cannot just fit the plastic duct.
Kit is part number 1702495.
170236 does not appear to be a valid part number.

THANKS IADOM JUST TALKED TO MY SUPPLER THE KITMDA170236 WITH STAT USED TO COME WITH THE FLUF FILTER THAY HAVE SPLIT IT UP SEPARATE ORDER £7.50 MORE HAVE A LOOK IN MASTERPARTS!

This thread just saved me a bucketful of trouble! Maybe I’ll just search here first when I’m looking for a difficult part in future. Although I actually got here this time by putting “TDL30 air duct” into Google!
