Have just got these 2 calls in for snapped belts and was wondering if there is any easy way to replace belt and what may have caused belts to snap cheers Paul.

These belts were always snapping. They have now been changed to 9 ribbed belts.

The front of the machine comes off then I put the belt round the drum(barely fits) and then with a long screwdriver I feed it between the drum and belt then put the end of the screwdriver under the motor pulley and push down forcing the belt along the screwdriver and onto the pulley.

I then clean the blood off my hands and arms and nip to the hospital for stitches 😆

Martin, have you had a chance to used the special tool to refit these belts yet?

PS. The 9 rib belts snap, may last a few months longer but not much. 😥

    Jim.
