ParticipantAnyone know the answer to this?!!
I am in need of a PCB Relay for Hotpoint TD model no.VTD00, serial no. 410190639. The original module is approx 5cm square, 3 tags numbered 1 to 3 from left to right (1.Brown/White 2.Blue 3.Pink/White). The new module supplied by Electrue part no. 1703642 is 9cmx5cm which won’t physically fit without removing a mounting post on the fascia and has 3 tags numbered 1 to 3 from right to left. If connected as per the original wiring it blows the plug fuse.Any help appreciated!

1702778 (correct picture as per original) is superceded by 1703642 according to electrue. Could it be that what is being sent is correct but needs to be wired differently? Does anyone have a number for Hotpoint technical, the number I have is no longer recognised?
Thanks for replies so far!

Very strange, still only 1702778 listed on Partfinder, 1703642 not even recognised. It is very unusual for Hotpoint superceded spares not to come with full fitting instructions.
Looks like you will need the assistance of some kind person with Emit 😉

Thanks, guys.
Have spoken with Hotpoint who suggest part no. 1703656 but Connections doesn’t recognise it. Does this no. appear anywhere else?

Partfinder (Hotpint’s own spares disk) doesn’t recognise 1703642 or 1703656 so they may have done some very recent modifications ? 😕
Order one from Hotpoint directly perhaps ?
Dave.

Just for the record part no. 1703656 has proved to be correct as supplied directly from Hotpoint.
