Got a WM62 that just hangs after wash part of the cycle. Customer says it washes ok but doesn’t get past the rinse. She has to manually move it on for it to complete cycle.

Customer has just moved into house and fault just occured when she first went to use the machine and it was ok before she moved. Doesn’t syphon (according to cust)

She says it fills/spins/pumps ok !!

Also checked for rinse hold but she says the 62 doesn’t have a rinse hold option button.

    Any help appreciated

The timer modules on these tend to stick if the carbon brushes are down…. Could it be that perhaps?

Sounds more like syphoning to me if it worked okay before, jj

Hi guys, thanks for help much appreciated.

I did ask all the usual pre-diagnosis questions, especially as it was initial install (after their house move). Customer assured me all water was on, etc etc.

Walked in, turned to rinse part of cycle, turned on and hummmmmmmmmm…….. no cold supply, faulty tap, was filling on hot only for wash and hanging on rinse..

Did you not notice the humming sound ? I asked…. oh yes but didn’t think it was important. You should have told me and we could have sorted it on the phone and saved a callout fee……… nice easy job for me 😀 😀 😀 😀

Just to put the knife in the bearings are on the way out and I’m going back to do the bearings for them 😀 😀
