ParticipantReplaced tub rear on above today,
When set on wash program starts to fill then stops after about 10 seconds and door lock releases, any ideas what the problem could be ?
Checked all the wiring all seems Ok.
Can the WMA boards be re programmed ?
Mike 🙁 🙁 🙁

Had one doing this last week , needed a new board to cure. Boards can be repaired by QER or EMW but not reconfigured. Having said that a new board is only a tenner more.
Worth trying the component test programme first though.

A strong possibilty as you have just replaced the drum is a dodgy contact somewhere.

Don’t usually disconnect wiring to the control board when removing the drum, could that be causing a problem?
If not problem may be bottom end somwhere, haven’t been back yet to try the spare board.Mike 🙄 🙁 🙄

I always remove the whole console, and the metal backplate, only takes a couple of minutes and makes the drum removal much easier.

i agree with iadom
taking the panel off makes it easier and less chance of water getting into it or getting knocked

i wouldnt even go that far wayne….
remove connectors from pcb…taking care to mark where connectors came from?
unscrew top panel which house the pcb etc…unclip wires that run down right hand side to motor etc…snip of cable ties underneath tub…
and then just hang top panel over left hand side of w/m…lift tub assy out > place doorseal side down >>remove connectors from motor/heater…
this can all be done without fill hoses etc removed….
saves a bit of time and not that complicated..although it does sound that way when your trying to write it down..
