hpt WMA40 door lock

hi guys,
hpt WMA40 .
customer phoned,says the machine is dead,tries to select program but “door locked” light keeps flashing.she said that she has had to bang the door to get it to work for the last 2 weeks.
sounds like door interlock.
went out this morning and fitted interlock,no difference.cable from interlock to control pcb is ok,no obvious burn marks or tracks damaged on control pcb.
any suggestions?
there is power getting to the interlock.
do you think control pcb is to blame?

Had same problem month or so ago, replaced control module behind facia to clear problem.

always worth tilting machine back and check wiring harness as it comes up the front panel next to front weight ihave had loads with broken wiring due to rubbing against the corncrete Cliff .N 8)

Have a look at the small chip, at the bottom, right hand corner of the module, looking from the green track side. Sometimes you will be able to signs of damage., often caused by the door interlock.

will almost certainly be the pcb, ive done a few of these….
also watch out for any leaks from d/seal…i had this recently small pinhole in seal ajacent to doorswitch, spaying a tiny amout of water onto d/swi..
resulting in damage to d/swi & pcb..
