    Has anyone else had poor service from this lot? I ordered a part more than two weeks ago and still it has not arrived. Trying to phone their helpline on 03445 610043 is a complete joke. You are greeted by a robot called Layla or something who asks you lots of useless questions then tries to interpret what you are saying. After that torture you get the long wait with music interspersed with announcements. You usually get cut off after 15 minutes or so. I’ve been through this routine numerous times now and got to speak to someone on two occasions, both of whom seemed to just fob me off. I believe this centre is in county durham? I would complain but i cant seem to find any info on Electrolux either . Looking on twitter the AEG and electrolux accounts havent been posted on for years. I will be checking with my credit card provider this week and asking for a charge back.

    had a part from Zanussi last week

    mine was delayed and did not arrive because I went and put the wrong post code against the delivery address, put my billing address post code by mistake. They were happy to send out another part which arrived within 2 days

    did you ask them if they had stock in the uk for this part ?

    It was showing as in stock on the website and neither of the people i spoke to mentioned a stock issue.

    The last time i managed to speak to AEG they promised it would arrive monday or tuesday this week and still the order status has not been updated. I am going to ring my card company and see if its been charged/request a chargeback.

    Well the part finally arrived with no order update or dispatch notification email. Its now fitted and seems to be working better. It gave me a chance to take both side panels off and explore the internal workings, give it a good cleaning/vac and general service. Thanks all.. i wont be using these clowns again.
