ParticipantKinda makes it all worthwhile… 😉
Dave
Element arrived this morning, and I have just fitted it, turned (admittedly
rather tentatively) the mains back on and discovered that it works
perfectly.
Thanks both for the prompt despatch and also the advice.I was just reflecting on the fact that I get sick of going to restaurants
where they add “for my convenience” a service charge and when you do get
real, useful service there is no tradition of giving a service charge.
Therefore, in the spirit of rewarding quality service, I wanted to ask if
there is some way I can get a tip to you? Happy either to put another fiver
on my credit card or stick a cheque in the post to you, but I feel you have
earnt a percentage tip more than most of the waiters and waitresses we get
served by round here.If not, many many thanks anyway, and I will recommend the site to anyone and
everyone.Best wishes
Andrew.I thought I’d post it, even though he emailed me directly, it isn’t just down to me, and it’s nice to recieve praise 😀
As far as the “tip” goes, I’ve told him I don’t want anything, just come back and use the site when he needs us.

Perhaps we should set up a link to a UKW approved charity (meeting discusion perhaps?) for which any future money offered such as this could be paid/directed to.

I’d already been thinking on it Mark, I actually have bitof information on it but I’ve not as yet had the time to actually do anything about it. 😕
Yes, I think we should discuss the subject a bit and my thought, as Dave knows at least, was to support the BBC’s Children In Need charity as it does a lot of good here as well as abroad as well as being a very highly respected cause.

I have to say that Ken has nominated the right charity in my opinion
Whilst UKW has little to give, I figure it would be a good ‘PR Job’ to concentrate what little surplus we could generate to Children in Need….period
What do others reckon????????
