    Hi

I have tumble dryer – AEG Lavatherm T-300.

When I use the “automatic” program it does not dry.

When I use the “timer” program it does dry.

I understand that probably the sensor that measure humidity does not function properly, but I don’t know how to recognize them.

Can you please send a picture, or tell where they should be located?

When I open the dryer, I saw that there is a copper brush on the dram that was broken.
Is that for discharge static charge?
    Should I replace it also?

    Thanks in advance,
    David

yep that is the problem, replace that and all should be well, the pcb measures differing (very low not harmfull) voltages between two points via the wet washing, as the clothes dry so the voltage changes and the copper is a pick up.

You mean that I should replace the copper brush?
It measure voltage on that brush?

To determine the resistance, you have to pass a current through the circuit. This requires volts to drive it.

    Stay safe, unplug it anyway.
