hvr ca231

got a hvr ca231 which is dead when on one side of the programmer when it gets to spin, the side they use alot, sits full off water door locked, change it to other side of timer and it works.
its got a slave timer and a pcb module not sure which one is knacked anyone had this problem?

Usually find it the contacts inside not connecting properly, some of the earlier timers you could take a part and clean, but for the sake £13 try a new one.

there isnt any buttons pressed in i was at one which had a “caress” button, i didnt know what it did but seemingly if it was in the machine stopped full of water with the door locked.
failing that the slave timer is a good bet.
