hvr F/F not cutting in

lady says fridge seems to be cold but freezer defrosting.
called out and it seems that the temp sensors are not working in the freezer correctly.
never worked on one before, is this a common fault or do you think it could be the PCB playing up?
is there a easy way to change the temp sensors or is it just a case of pulling one out and putting the new one in?
has any one got the part no. for the sensors and the PCB please?

common fault that
id try defrosting it first, youll find the evaporator will be blocked with ice, and air cant circulate

other than that, its the black defrost sensor ( attatched to the top pipe of the freezer evaporator ) with 4 wires coming out of it

the pcb doesnt usually cause that problem

yer, they come as a kit, cut and butt, but well insulated

its as easy as taking the rear evaoprator cover off, and unclipping it from the top ofthe evaporator pipe

then .. cut and join with supplied connectors

i take it the sensor kit(cut and butt) is connect part no. 5031685849054
