    Has the heating element on the above model with the red connector block on the end of the heater ( the socket ) been changed to simply…
    91201546 on the ukwg shop?

    Also the original element is slightly kinked and not straight.

    They are the regular bog standard Hoover/Candy heaters. Come either with the red front cover or exposed terminals. (either sort is fine) And they are all dead straight by the way, not kinked in any shape or form OK?

    the bugger i took out was very slightly kinked although i coulda caused that as it was a sod to extract,any tips or a tool that helps getting these out? some can be a right pain.

    Can’t say I’ve had any problem extracting the heater on these. After loosening the compression nut and tapping it inward and then gentle easing with a screwdriver each side of the heater plate usually does the trick as a rule. 😕
