My Hygena Extractor Hood 2400/2430 fan works but the lights do not. The front panel activates the switch to the light (I can hear the ‘click’ coming from the main control PCB, but the lights do not come on. The fan switch and motor works fine.
I have removed the control PCB and checked the fuses and all looks OK with no obvious burn damage. There was no indication before it stopped working of anything ‘blowing’ i.e. fuse, trip switch – it simply did not come on one evening.
I am not sure if the control PCB is faulty or the front switch panel. I assume that the the front switch is OK as it activates the fan motor ok, but I need need expert advice from someone who knows this product on which part I should order, the PCB or the front switch panel.
