I have the above dishwasher and after the last wash I noticed that not all the water had drained. When i started a drain cycle, the pump hummed but the water remained. I have throughly cleaned all the top filters and blown through the waste pipe which is clear so i can only assume either the pump has failed or is bocked, either way i need to get it out.

I know it has to come out from the bottom which means tipping the dishwasher back but i would like to know if i can do this without flooding my kitchen. The salt reservoir is obviously still full of water so if i tip the machine or lay it down is there anywhere that water will poor from or would it be contained?

    Cheers

I have finally managed to get the dump motor out and have found the motor shaft to the impeller has broken so i obviously need a new motor. The details on the label of the motor show,

    PLASET SRL ITALY
    50548- 34W- 0, 3A
    220/240v AC-50HZ
    PROTETT. TERMIC.
    CL.F 02-97

Anyone know where I can get one and how much?

    Cheers
