Hygena AHY 8122 Fault

Hope somebody can help. my dishwasher has totally stopped working. The power light is on. Water supply is ok. No matter what position I have the dial in nothing happens, none of the normal noises totally silent. The dial does not turn on it’s own when a programe is set. There is some waste water in the bottom of the machine that has not drained away as the machine stopped working at the beginning of a cycle. I’ve checked the waste pipe & this is free of blockage.
Machine is about 18 months old used on a regular basis.

Dead door switch or broken wiring in the door would be a good bet. Power off if you’re going to investigate. Failing that check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Many thanks, after a quick investigation it is the switch. Searched quite a few sites for a new switch but can’t find one specifically for my hygena. Found one that looks the same but says it’s for a line of ARISTON dishwasher’s is this likely to be the one?
