Hygena AHY8112 – Leaking

Could someone tell me if this is a common problem with this washer and how much repair might cost:

Leak coming from water pump during cycle. I’ve lifted off the plinth fascia and removed filter – there doen’t appear to be any blockage, so assume that the pump might be knack’d.

This model appears to be made by a Chinese manufacturer called Haier, the pump from MFI is £15.99 plus VAT and carriage so not too bad.

Labour charges vary across the UK, if you check the repairs@ link below for an engineer you can check the likely costs directly 🙂
