ParticipantHi,
I have recently moved into a place with a hygena de luxe oven. There is no documentation on it in the house and somebody has previously cleaned any trace of markings off the front. So, I have no idea at which point to set the controls.
There are two controls on the front. Top left is a timer. Top right is the main dial.
The number from inside the door area is: 052 30183.I can work out where the timer settings are by trial and error but any help on both dials would be appreciated.
Thanks

The model number is on a label stuck to the roof of the oven box. Undo the security screws around the cavity surrond; ease the unit forward and make a note of the number – probably AHY—-.
With the plethora of models over the years, we have little chance of assisting you with the current information

the markings are on the knobs they should say 0 to 60 on the left and on the right should be a lightbuld then 0 to 250 then a grill symbol.
right knob first click is light then up to 250 until it clicks for grill.

Hi,
I’ve just encountered the exact same problem in a house I’ve moved into. Whilst the info. is great for the moment getting an exact temperature is still a bit hit and miss – anyone got any ideas if / where I could get a replacement dial (with markings) or even a part number so I can search the net ?
I also need grill pan for it – again any ideas anyone ?
Thanks.

I can certainly help with both shozer but as previous, without a model we are stumped I’m afraid.
All Hygena ovens have a model beggining APL… or AHY… or similar.
If you can’t see it around the door anywhere, the oven may have to be slid forward from it’s housing as sometimes it’s on the roof.

Ok – many thanks for that swift response. I’ll have a look this weekend (as I think it will need sliding out). Do you want me to post here again – or have you a website / email I’d be better using ?

I’ve pulled the cooker out of the unit surround and looked on the top of it – and there’s no label !! Is it likely that it’s just dropped / worn off over the years or are there any other locations it may be in ?

OK, the label may have fallen off by the sound or it 🙁
Take a picture of the front of the oven with the door closed and email it to me please, I’ll try an identify that way 🙂
