Hygena/Diplomat APL 8225 – Not working ?

Hi,

Have a 7 year old inherited 8225 dishwasher. It’s stopped clicking on through any of the programs. However puzzlingly, just before it stopeed working, it did click through to heating up the water cycle, but did not pump in water! causing quite a smoky experience!

Any ideas, it doesn’t give much info as its an old model. I can’t get it too pump water in, checked the water supply is working but haven’t pulled it out yet to check for blockages. Not sure where is best to look for this.

Any help greatly appreciated, living in the Bristol area.

OK, I first thought faulty inlet valve but it shouldn’t have stepped on to heating, so, blockage in the pressure switch area would be my guess.

Yeah, thanks! Having done some thinking I’m sure you’re right and its in the pressure system area. Any ideas on the best way to attack this problem anyone? I’m not a dishwasher expert 😕
