Hygena Dishwasher

Please can someone help. You have moved house and inherited a Hygena Dishwasher. There are no distinguishing marks to indicate the model number and we have no instructions on how to use ( putting in rinse aid and tablets for instance ).

The brief description is a standard size ( not slimline ) and has a dial on the left as you look at the appliance. This dial has three programmes indicating which wash to use – we have been using no 3

Can anyone help.

The model number should be on the rating plate located on the inner frame of the door. It will be in the format APL**** AHY**** or ADP**** where * represents a number

Yes John….

If by the base you mean the inside where you load the machine then there is either a back-flow from the waste connection, or the inlet valve is not shutting off correctly.

If you mean the ‘under-tray’ of the machine then quite simply you have a leak somewhere, this could be from several sources ranging from very minor to write-off really.

Best bet is to have an engineer look at it for you if you are unsure how to proceed. Have a look in Repairs@ (the big red tool-box on the left) to see if there’s someone near you.
