Hygena – Element Replacement

My mothers dishwasher element is gone (over the phone diagnostic). I was going to order in a spare and replace it myself. Are the elements for Hygena interchangeable with other manufacturers as there is a longer wait time on delivery with this brand.
Are there any particular snags i should look out for when tackling the job.

Hi RFB
There is no manufacturer called Hygena…this is an ‘own brand’ name specific to MFI. They have used more than one manufacturer to make the machines for them over the years so if you can post the model number of the machine here then the element can be identified for you, and the quickest supply method suggested.
