I can’t find a 1500w element for my Baumatic cooker

I have a Baumatic double oven and the main ovens element has gone, but I’m having trouble finding a replacement the same wattage.
I can find replacements the same size but I can not find any that are the 1500w that I need .
Would it be possible to replace the 1500 watt element with a 2000 watt ?

Hi Ad,

You’d be better to drop a mail to Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for that one although he may not be able to get you a definitive answer until tomorrow. But in theory, the 2000W should be okay, I’ve certainly done similar in the past but obviously it’s an “at your own risk” thing with no guarantee that it’ll be okay.
