ParticipantI have had this machine for about 2 years (got it from a friend second hand) I dont know how long he had it….we were getting some water left in the washer after its cycle…but i was putting it down too my sink as the downpipe from it is connected to the same T …..but just lately when we put in a tablet and press to start the machine sounds as if its going to go…but when I open the door to have a peek its not working although the sound is there as if it was working if ya know what I mean but no water is entering in to it….the two blades look clear as if its not a blockage in there part …ive took off side panel theres 3 black rubber hoses down down the way that look ok ….should I investigate more…or chuck it in the bin….im the same guy thats just shelled out £89.99 for the new drum for my hotpoint WMA 34 …what about that for a piece of bad luck within 24 hours.

There is a ukw meeting and beer session happening so replies may be slow- will be back to normal on sunday.Try disconecting the water fill pipe then reconecting it as there may be an air lock inside. let us know if it works when you next try it .

I take it by the water fill pipe you mean the clear cold water plastic pipe..if its that then ive done that when I had to disconnect the water to bring the machine out from under the worktop…still was the same when i reconnected it…or do you mean one of the black flexi pipes that lie in the side panel…..

I meant the fill pipe to the back of the washer if it’s no different best to get an engineer to look at it.
Look in repairs@ for a local engineer.
Ps If you wait till tomorrow you’ll probly get more advice on here
