    MY MACHINE IS MAKING HORRIBLE GRINDING NOISES…DURING THE SPIN CYCLE AS IF THE DRUMS NOT CENTRALISED COULD IT BE LOOSE OR IS IT BEARINGS,,,CAN IT BE FIXED AS THERE IS NO ACCESS AT THE BACK ONLY FROM THE TOP AS FAR AS I CAN SEE…HOW MUCH FOR THE PARTS….I,LL FIX IT MY SELF….BUT IF ITS NOT WORTH IT I,D RATHER KNOW BEFORE I START,,,ITS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD….THANKS AKKIE

    Don’t bother fixing it yourself. Simply phone Hotpoint on : 0870 9066066 and they will replace the Whole DRUM ASSEMBLY for labour cost only (about £90).. :tup:

    …trust me I know these things…go for it… 🙂

    Yup they will do it for £89.98 which will the cover the cost of anything that needs to be done to it.

    The appliance will come with a 14-day guarantee and the parts fitted will come with a 1-year guarantee.

    b4 u do just check concrete counter weights are tight as they do have a habbit of coming loose

    Did you keep your recipt ❓
    By law under the sale of goods act your appliance must last a “reasonable lenth of time”.
    Which here in Scotland is classed as 5 Years, and in England it is 6 Years 😯

    Your complaint is now with the seller not the maker.

    Yup thanks guys price was spot on phoned them on tuesday they had a guy from six miles away came out on wednesday…..spot on this website goes on my all time favs list …..im not worthy …..replaced the whole drum belt and rubber which would have cost £189.00 …..just as you said,,,it cost me £89.99.
