I don’t even know why I do my job anymore
I’d be less humiliated and treated better spending a week in the stocks
Its Friday night and i’m already dreding monday morning.

yep, ditto, had an ok week upto today, every last customer spent the whole time i was in their house moaning & winging, ‘these machines are crap’, ‘why did you take so long to come’, ‘what do you mean you dont carry 12 yr old obscure modules’, ‘mind my bloody floor’, ‘HOW MUCH? i can buy a new one for that!’, now im in a bad mood for the weekend!!, 😆 plus ‘why has my pump failed you only changed the drum in february, i shouldnt have to pay again’

Sounds about right, and had some old git on OAP wednesday at B&Q back into my van and bend the bonnet, when I stopped him, he denied doing it, called me a liar and accused me of trying to fit him up! Even though I had his paint on my vehicle. Now the firm want 250 quid policy excess off ME to fix it!
I got to see the mother in law and family tommorow so their could be a stream of blood flowing from South Wales 😆
And WHY are other peoples children Soooooo Bloody annoying, all I wanted to do was fix the frost free fridge freezer and the little sh1t kept pushing past me to get the ice, whilst not so yummy mummy kept on saying ‘Don’t annoy the man Oliver’. He took no notice until I told him he was annoying the man, at which point he started to cry, and I had a heated arguement with the father.
And all the usuall crap about ‘How Much’ and ‘You must be paid well’ along with ‘How do you sleep at night’ to which I nearly replied to the bloke (who works nights) ‘fine when your wife stops snorring’ but didn’t fancy my jaw broke again 😆
Its a shame as we all seem to end up coming home and taking it out on our loved ones 🙁

yup, i really think the job has changed in last 5-8 years, used to have ur regulars, 2-3 times a year, pleased to see you, xmas cards & tips, now can go days at a time without seeing a reg customer, as for the OAP i’d haave follwed him home discreetly & repaid in kind one evening!, but that just twisted old me (but its that customers that drove me to it, honest!!)

SteveHope you got his registration number. If you call into B&Q they should have the evidence from cctv. Then you can confront the old fool with that.
If not, bluff it & tell him you have it on video, and you are reporting him to the police as a hit & run, “unless of course Sir, you pass me you insurance details etc.”You may well be asked by your empoyers what where you doing in B&Q in any case.

I did go into B&Q, but unfortunatly my van was parked out of range of their camera 🙁 I was in comet who have the adjoining unit to B&Q doing a dealer visit, they didn’t see any thing either. 😡
Got his registration number though 🙂 passed the details on to the firm too. I think he found me a bit intimidating being a 6 fit skin head with earings 😆
