I have a hotpoint FFS70 Fridge Freezer. Over the last week solid ice has building in one specific area in the drainage channel at the bottom of the fridge. There is no ice anywhere else, but a lot of condensation/wet shelves. Anyone any ideas? I am having to remove this daily and wondered if I should just buy a new one or if it’s something that could be repaired?

    Hi Lynn,

It’s an insulation failure and, in real world terms, cannot be repaired. Time for a new one I’m afraid.

    K.
