Trying to help a friend as I’m ex trade – It’s a Whirpool S25RB RSB31 and it is forming icicles from the front of the icemaker.
The feed tube doesn’t seem to be dripping and I can imagine that it is either failing to release all of the cubes or is overfilling with water. It is a nuisance problem as the icicles are not very big and take a little time to form – I wonder if anyone has any experience of this or knows of a “stock” fault?

    Nope, that’s a new one.

    Is the flap closing correctly?

    Hi Paul,

No clue then TBH, it’s certainly not a common one.

    How’s life these days?

    Hi

Common problem on the samsungs is the water valve seeping slowly and then icing up as it drips

Thanks for the input fellas – don’t think it’s dripping from the valve as there’s no trace of ice on the rubber fill tube above the mould.
    Ken – pls see pm
