    Hi
Ive been to an Ideal HE30 boiler today with fault LF showing.
After checking the flame sensing probe, the dc voltage at the gas control valve. the ignition system the fault is still there.
I took off the tube from the gas control valve to the casing, there was water in it.
I cleared the water and it started working again, for about 6 hours, then the fault came back.
I returned this evening and although there was no water in the tube, when I sucked the tube while still attached to the gas valve some more water came out and the boiler is working again, for now.
Does anyone have any ideas on what is happening and what needs to done to sort it.
    Cheers
    Roy

Well it sound like a ignition fault soit needs to be stripped down and cleaned the dirt and carbon builds up around the ignition and flame sensor underneath so good clean should sort this Kai

It’s more than a simple ignition fault I suspect. Having to drain the water suggests a condensate drainage issue, frozen pipe outside maybe? Have you checked the user manual I wonder?
