fully aware of this lee, my post was due to certain customers, similar to the ones you have come across who are essentially snobbish about where things are built. im sure people on here are aware of the certain customers who will ask for something and will walk out if you try to push them something else, because they have just explained to you what they want.
not only that, if someone has specifically requested an appliance to be german made – if you sell them it and its not german, either through your own ignorance, or just because you think you can pull the wool over their eyes, its mis-selling.
this is why i wondered if they have a code on them that can be easily deciphered/recognised as to which plant its come from.
in the same respect i did once have a lady that wanted only british. nothing built in germany or italy or china. she was a bit odd but old enough that it was probably something to do with the war
