ParticipantIdesit DIF04b1 has been working faultlessly until a couple of days ago when it emitted three short bleeps mid cycle followed by a bleep every 5 seconds until the end of program.
As far as I can tell it is still working…but it may well be missing something out in the program?
I have run cleaner through it and it worked for a couple of washes, but bleeping has started again. I left it unplugged overnight and tried it again today….bleeping started about 45 minutes into the program.
Can anyone help
Thanks

Are any of the indicator lights flashing, the first four lights are used to show an error code.

When it starts beeping, with the door still closed I can see all the lights are flashing, but when I open the door, there are no lights flashing. When I close the door the cycle resumes but the beeping continues.

All lights flashing is not a known error code, you could try running the auto test cycle to see if you get an error code.
Starting the Auto Test Cycle
1. Open the door and switch the machine on. (On/Off button)
2. Switch the dishwasher off. (On/Off button)
3. Press and Hold the “P” (programme) Button for 3 seconds. The machine
will beep.
4. Switch the dishwasher on. (On/Off button)
The On/Off Led will flash slowly and LED 2 is on.
5. Close the door, after 4 seconds the machine will beep and the Auto Test
cycle will start after 6 secondsOctober 5, 2015 at 4:52 pm #430727user_50630

Sounds like it may have a corrupted pcb, difficult to suggest what to do without error codes apart from testing all components particularly the heater with a suitable megger or multimeter for insulation faults and visibly inspecting the wiring harness, especially inside the door.

It has just completed a wash without error. I am thinking the PCB may be getting wet/damp
I have never liked this machine….had to get a new dinner service because it cant take an adult size plate
I have my eyes on a Bosch!!
Thank you so much for your help, really appreciated

I have run two cleaners through the machine, cleaned limescale from the door seals, checked wiring loom underneath (feels dry).
I have upped the water hardness and rinse aid setting to 3.
Dishwasher failed on Program 4 and switched itself off…but then it completed without error the intensive wash program.
It will not do the test cycle.
Its £110 for a ‘one time’ fix, or £15 per month for an unlimited fix or £220 for an identical replacement…I will keep going with it…but a new one seems the most sensible choice!
