IDL40UK d/washer, soap/rinse aid disp keeps chattering on?

before i go ordering a 100 bit PCB, can any body shed any light on this fault, m/c fills, starts to wash, dispenser then opens, and then repeatedly the solonoid keeps chattering ,opening and closing, therefore emptying the all the rinse aid into the appliance.

Attended a Whirlpool dishwasher today that did just that. In this case the base had flooded and motor connection immersed. Fortunately motor and pcb weren’t damaged. But after drying connection and wd40 chattering ceased. Maybe similar moisture/earthing problem!

base is bone dry, unplugged connector on dispenser, to stop solonoid banging on/off. and all functions ok, fills, washes, drains, and not a leak.

It’ll be the timer BIT100. Had one in the summer. infestation of ants in fascia would you believe? lots of lttle bodies tracking across the triacs!!
