idl705 indesit white marks on glasses

Hi i need some advice please, i have a indesit 705 and it is leaving white marks on glasses. i put the taller glasses on the bottom shelf they are fine but the smaller ones on the top are really bad.
We have had the dishewasher about a year and i have filled the salt up 3 times is that normal? i only did it when it tild me to.
Also i have heard you adjust the salt according hard and soft water regions dont no what we are i live in stockton on tees north east is that hard or soft water.
also dont no how to adjust it .

Do you use 3 or 4 in1 tabs??
If you do then you are most probably double dosing the salt action, which would give you this result.
