I’m taking the plunge! Trialling fixed cost repairs in my area. Web page should be about a week tops, T&C’s are sorted, booking system is sorted (i.e through me!!!) and have a guy going to sort Adwords.
Will post link to page when done, see what you guys think…

So here’s the thing…
If it’s a big company that does it and the terms don’t suit the customer well, it’s just the usual big company boll0cks to get out paying.
Much like a lot of insurance.
If it’s a small company, well, they’re just ripping people off.
You really can’t win.
Added to which you can’t spread the risk without knowing the costs, you need volume to be able to do this.

Will post a link when I’ve given the YEY to go live, see what you think, it’s on a test domain at the moment, looks good methinks, but are a few adjustments to be done…

You have to use a CF postcode BTW to progress, when done, if any other postcode is entered, you get taken to a page saying basically, out of area, UKWhitegoods link to Repairs@
