Ignis ADL 347 dishwasher arms not spinning

Hi All,

I have an Ignis ADL 347 dishwasher which is not working properly.

When I put it on a wash cycle it makes all the proper noises but the wash arms do not rotate. When I set a cycle with the door open (door closed switch triggered) I noticed that the lower arm does move but extremely slowly.

Any ideas?

probably got one of the crap askoll type spray pumps. replace it with the new kind which is more like a conventional motor about £50 and jobs a goodun.

Could just be the capacitor if it isn’t an Askol type one.
