ignis adl 347 dishwasher problem

I have started the programe for our dishwasher this morning and there is a constant beeping from the dishwasher. I have tried to reset the programe (water is still where the float/water indicator is and in the bottom where the filter is) to no avail. Any ideas please or if I can download a guide.

Ignore the beeps – count the pattern of the flashing start light; ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat.

Hi, the light appears to flash 4 times then repeats.

f4 fault= drainage problem,pump/pipes blocked?

Hi Deltra,j ust noticed that you are from Workington, if I can not get the dishwasher sorted could you recommend someone to have a look as I am from Whitehaven.

In the meantime, and if you are of a practical bent……

Bail out as much water as you can. Pull the plug. Remove the lower front cover plate. The drain pump is at the front and is a twist fit to remove. There may be a foreign object in there, or the pump my have failed. The impellor should resist and “ping” quite freely when turned manually; he coil should read somewhere around 200 ohms if metered.
