Have a problem on said dish washer. When switched on it starts up and every thing is fine, but it stops after a short while and just beeps continuously. When you open the door the rinse cycle light is on (even though I set the Hottest cycle).
Another note. The RCD for my kitchen circuit had tripped out prior to this and we set the dishwasher start before we go to bed. I believe the dishwasher tripped the RCD out.
Could it be the heating element?

    Many thanks Gary

Hi: Going on your description of the fault & the error code then the problem is probably a faulty element. The only way to test properly is with a Megger.

    I have a Megger 1730 (electrician here)
Hoe do you get access to the element?

Hi Garry: I believe on this 1 you get at the element by removing the back panel.

Cheers mate. Will take a look a come back with what I find.
Only downside is its intergrated so have to dismantle the kitchen

:eeek: Good luck mate, I’m not a great fan of Integrated appliances. Often takes twice as long to dismantle the units as it does to find the fault 👿

Ok have stripped it all out.
You have to lay it down and remove the bottom panel.
Have put a continuity test on the element and don’t get a reading at all. A 500v insulation test across the element gives a reading of >999 and just to be sure putting 230v across the element I have no current reading on a clamp meter.
I think this pretty much tells us the element is caput. Do you concur?

Hi Gary: Sorry for the delay in replying mate, yep I totally agree with you. No need to apply power to the element though your 1st 2 tests were spot on.
