    this machine is working fine but it takes in water then drains ,it does this twice before starting a program and then goes through the program fine , flow meter fault ??

    Sounds normal. just does this to make sure it’s washing in fresh water if been stood. Bit like when washers drain before door locking and filling or on servis when they fill for a while then drain and contiue to fill and wash.
