Ignis ADL 834 Problem

Hi all, I have an Ignis ADL 834 dishwasher which doesn’t get hot and therefore won’t run through its cycle. It stays in one place. I thought it could be the heater element but, I read of someone on another forum with the same symptoms changing this to no avail. Trouble is I can’t contact the user to find out what the problem was.
Can anyone help me with this ? Quick cheap fix of fatally flawed ?
Any help appreciated as the dishes are piling up !

Have you actually tested the heater? Otherwise you’re just guessing.

I tested the element and whether it was getting power fromthe water level sensor and all was ok. I then saw that the element has a resettable thermostat and this needed resetting. Did this and all was ok for a while.

However, it keeps tripping the reset all the time now. Is it worth just swapping the element or could the problem lie elsewhere.
The water temp never seems to get as high as before now and the tablet sometimes doesn’t dissolve.

Any advice appreciated.
