    Hi

My ADL347 is stopping on the 50 degree cycle and the light is flashing a six flash then pause sequence. I have searched for a manual but cannot find one on the web. I am now having to use the 70 degree cycle instead.

I cannot find a reference to six flashes on the forum already. Anyone have an idea what the fault might be?

    Many thanks

    Nick in Sheffield

Rise in water level not detected in the time allowed – it’s a fill problem. If it only happens on one particular programme though, it suggest more of a logic error than an actual fill problem.

Fill level should be touching the salt fill cap if it’s filling properly. Always worth checking the grid in the sump. That’s the water level indicator and is prone to clogging with fatty deposits. These can be scrubbed out with pldnty of hot water and an old toothbrush.

    Thanks Penguin45,

I cleaned the little black window in the sump with a small paint brush – there was some muck blocking part of it. Now the washer appears to be reliable again.

    Many thanks for your advice.

    Cheers

    Nick
