I have an Ignis adl347 dishwasher that has started playing up.
Sometimes it gets as far as releasing the dishwasher tablet and then bleeping, sometimes it gets as far as completly washing but not drying and then sometimes it goes through a complete cycle. We have watched the flashing light and it is a constant flash. With the help of this website we have found out that constant flashing means F1 fault which is temperature sensor. Is there anyway that we can test this sensor before we order one? Does anyone else have any suggestions? Please help if you possibly can.

PS: The machine is 8 years old and has not skipped a beat until now. 😥

The NTC temperature sensor should give a reading of approximately 50kOhms at room temperature, falling as the temperature rises. Obviously you will need a test meter to verify this.

The sensor is a notoriously fickle beast – they can read perfectly well on the meter and the computer won’t have it. A splash of water can throw them out as well.

    Replacement part is HERE.

Power off if you’re sorting this yourself.
