    Hi,
Please can anyone help. We have an Ignis ADL348 dishwasher that will not start. you can select the program you require, shut door and start but after 20 secs or so machine gives a constant run of bleeps and stops all wash cycles. When door is opened it gives a 7 flash error code but we are unsure what this is.
    Thanks Jez

Would be helpful if you can supply the 12 digit service no beginning with 8.
Possibly fault on water flow meter but would need to check on the servis no first.

7 flashes, represents flow meter fault(measures water going into machine),worth checking water is switched on,filter in inlet pipe fitting to machine is clear.
    UNPlUG before handling machine.
Whirlpool agents etc should be able to supply spares for this one if they are required

Thanks for that. We have stripped down the inlet water supply and all seems find. Water is alittle hard around here but pipe, connections and any filters are fine. What should be the 1st part we look for or is there anything else that needs to be checked and cleaned??

    Thanks again

Remove left hand side panel – you’ll find THIS. There is a small pcb attached to it. The contacts on the connector oxidise over time and give a bad connection. A good clean up may do the trick. It’s also possible that the reed switch has failed, in which case you’ll need to buy the unit as above.
