IGNIS D/W ADL347

The right hand hinge mechanism has failed in some way. The door is loose and floppy at the right hinge and when you try to close the door it lifts up at the right hand side, preventing the door from closing properly. I have identifiied all the possible culprits on SIOS. Machine is a very tight fit so have not yet attempted to remove from unit. Any obvious or known failures in this area or do I order all the bits?

I can see a small piece of shiny curved steel, looks like a band on the right but cannot see this at the left side.

Order 481240448746 which is the plastic slide and 481240118707 which is the metal band. I always change both sides because you can guarantte that the other will go next month and customer will claim it is a recall.

Cheers John, will do. Although the band comes up as 481240118397 on my copy of SIOS 😕

When you see a part number on SIOS in the bottom left hand box double click on it, it will bring up a new window with the price and also let you know if the part has been superseded.

Thanks again, fortunately Masterpart still recognised the old number, parts on order, just the travials of getting it out to worry about now. 😥
