Model ADL834 left hand hinge. I’ve never had to do one of these so I’m not sure how they work. It looks to me as though there is no part of the hinge fixed to the main machine, just the hook, metal strip, guide and rear mounted spring. The spring/strip assembly has come apart and the door not only drops down but goes out of alignment with the frame so you have to relocate the hinge when trying to shut the door. What I’m getting at is, do I just re-assemble it or does it need a new hinge? Any tips on how to assemble it would also be useful.
