    Hi

We have an Ignis AKL 335/01 fitted double oven/grill which was in the house when we moved in a few months ago.

I am wondering if one of the oven door seals is missing – the bottom one on the main oven. There are holes there to possibly fit one but having looked on the net for replacement seals I see that most are three sided.
which would stack up with the three that are there at present. I have noticed that the oven tends to ” drip” steam etc onto the grill/oven below, which makes me wonder if there should be a fourth.

Can anyone tell me if there should be a fourth seal please!

    Thank you

    Both door seals are three-sided.

    Thanks

So….. if there are only three seals – should the oven drip steam etc?

    or is this normal..

    Interesting point…….

There is a marked temperature differential between the inner and outer glasses of the door, so I suppose there must be condensation forming as a result. A three sided seal being open at the bottom is presumably acting as an air intake for cool air (the oven has a hot air vent at the rear) to circulate, a proportion of the hot air venting at the rear.
