The problem with our Cannon C60GPXF LPG gas cooker is that when you try to use the main oven the ignition system for each burner on the whole appliance will not stop clicking / firing, making the main oven effectively unusable. Turning the electricity supply off doesn’t help as the main oven immediately shuts down. It is a new appliance (fitted in July this year) but Cannon will not give us advice on how to fix it or even disable the ignition system altogther as we are on a boat in France and therefore cannot be visited by a UK repairman. As you can probably tell from this, I am not a technical type so any advice in lay language would be much appreciated!

As you are in France it will be easier to attack this problem on a local basis. I would visit your local gas cooker retailer or Bricolage to source a gas engineer who may be able to help.
Sorry but we are unable to advise on gas repairs due to forum rules.
