I was called to the dishwasher because it was completely dead. There are no display lights, but I checked for a supply to the module, and that was ok. On the assumption that 240 in, and nothing out meant that the module must be at fault, I went ahead and ordered a module, but upon fitting the new module, the dishwasher was still lifeless. I am thinking that it is unlikely that I have been supplied with a duff module, so can anyone shed any light on possibilities here please? Does anyone have a wiring diagram? Thanks in anticipation. Steve.

Dave, Having studied the wiring diagram you sent me, I can see no sign of another PCB as mentioned by Kaibart. Looking at the diagram, I can see there are three parts common to the incoming supply. They are the heater (unlikely to be the problem), the pressure switch and the leakage switch? Is the leakage switch the door switch? I am wondering if this switch works like the Bosch integrated door switch, where the supply to the display is disconnected when the door is closed? Can I really have been fooled by this? In any event, I can only see either this leakage switch, or the pressure switch being the possible problem from what I can see on the diagram. Any ideas? Cheers. Steve.

I think that the “leakage switch” is the anti-flood float switch in the base and although possible is unlikely to be the problem.
If this is a built in machine (and looking at the parts list I would assume that it is) then it may only activate the display and respond to buttons with the door open – Have you checked the door switch operation? (“IP” on the diagram I think) if not the try disconnecting one side of the door switch and then power it up and see if it lights up.

have sent you manual listed for this machine but lots of stuff in it is not for your model

part number for board comes up as 97391167 90 10-04 / 2 (pre configured )
to double check you have correct part

I had this a couple of times, check connections A1 & B2 are not reversed on the new board against the old board.

Having gone through the machine with a fine tooth comb, checking possible reversed connections, anti flood switch (leakage switch}, plugging into a separate socket with extension lead, etc etc etc, I could still find no obvious fault with the appliance, which remained completely lifeless. I came to the conclusion, but without any real confidence, that the new module must be faulty, as unlikely as that is. At this point the customer must have reached the point of alarm, and decided to replace the dishwasher. In over thirty years in the business, this is a first for me.
