The first time I was called out to this dishwasher 10 months ago, it has a burnt overflow switch which I replaced. The original connectors were cleaned out and tightened as the sleeves looked intact, plugged it onto the replacement overflow switch. 10 months later, same thing happened.

very reluctant to replace the switch if this would repeat itself again later on. My gut feeling is that this particular design of the overflow switch should not be allowed to be used and should have be subjected to a recall or modification.

my question to you is that should I replace the switch or advise customer to scrap the dishwasher on safety ground? Unless someone has a better suggestion?

    thanks Matt
